TERRY BECKER
(Pierre)
Terry is native of Avon High School and attended Mt. Marty College where he was an All-Conference & All-State Football and Basketball player. He was a two time Academic All-American. As a coach at Dell Rapids St. Mary’s he had two state tournament appearances and the Class B Championship in 2004. As a coach in Pierre, his coached four teams to State Tournament and was the class AA runner-up in 2006.

JIM BRIDGE
(Hanson)
Jim Bridge, a native of Wagner, SD has been the head girls basketball coach at Hanson for 23 years. Jim, who is the High School Principal and athletic director at Hanson HS, guided the Beaverettes to a 3rd place finish in the 2007 State B tourney. His girls have compiled a record of 168-33 and 60-1 (in the Cornbelt Conference) the last nine years at Hanson.

BURNELL GLANZER
(Armour)
Glanzer coached Armour to a state boys record of 64 consecutive victories from 1978-80. Coach Glanzer has won 82% of his games in the last 31 seasons at Armour and has coached ten 20-win seasons and 12 seasons with three or fewer losses. He has won over 500 games. The Packers won their third state championship in 1997.

KEVIN JANISH
(Scotland)
Kevin Janish has been coaching girls basketball for seventeen years. Two years in Viborg and the last fourteen in Scotland, thirteen of them as the head coach. He also was the assistant boys basketball coach for eight years. In that time his girls teams have won three district championships (2004, 2006 & 2007) and two conference championships. He was also selected as Region assistant boys coach of the year twice.

ARLIN LIKNESS
(Yankton)
Arlin coached at Hamlin for 15 years as the Assistant boy’s basketball coach.  Arlin’s teams have made it to the State Tournament seven times.  Arlin took Yankton boys to the State basketball tournament in 2002 and has been an assistant since that time. They have made 5 more trips to the state tournament. He also has coached track and baseball.

DANA MARQUARDT
(Mount Marty College)
Now an Assistant Coach at Mount Marty College, Dana played in two National Tournaments for the Lancers.  Dana started all 33 games, and was a captain on a school record breaking 24 win team in 2009

ELDON MARSHALL
(White River)
Eldon has taken White River to the State Tourn 4 straight years! Placing 4th, 3rd, Winning State in 2008 and finishing Runner up in ’09. He has led White River to Back-to-Back Championships at the LNI in 2008&2009. He Also coached the SD all time leading scorer Louie Krogman.

ALAN MILLER
(Mitchell)
Alan led Stickney to a State Championship in 1981 and was also named Mr. Basketball the same year. He was an All-American in 1985 and led the nation in scoring. Alan is 2nd all time in collegiate scoring for South Dakota. He coached for 20 years taking his teams to 8 state tournaments.

ERIN OLSON
(Dakota Wesleyan University)
Erin is an alumnus of the Hansen Anderson Camps!  Following her all American college career Erin chose to play overseas and also coached there for a time. She is currently an assistant with DWU’s Women’s program.

MATT RAMA
(Red Cloud)
Matt is in his 7th year at Red Cloud. During that time he has coached 26 All-Conf players, 3 All-Staters, 4 Senior Selects and has had 10 players sign to play ball for Colleges as high as Division I. He has taken Red Cloud to two State Tournaments, 2007 finishing 3rd and 2009 finishing 7th. He also has had academic achievements the past four years on his teams.

ERIK SKOGLUND
(Spearfish)
Erik coached the Salem girls team to the 2006 State Tournament. He worked with the BHSU WBB program helping them to TWO National Tournament appearances.  He currently is the head coach at Spearfish HS were in 2009 he led them back to the State Tournament.
